Australian Market Closed Slightly Lower Today


  • The Australian markets closed slightly lower as investors traded cautiously about how China and Asian economies are tracking and that's why the mining stocks didn't perform well today. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index closed at 5317 (-7.9 points) while the broader All Ordinaries index closed slightly negative at 5318.8 (-8.9 points).
